Project idea
BOXO developed a mobile workstation in a case format that combines a mini PC, a portable 14” monitor, and all necessary peripherals into a single system.
The solution is created for situations where a workplace needs to be quickly deployed without being tied to a location, while maintaining the usual workflow logic and ease of use.
Task
It was necessary to combine transportation and a full-fledged working environment in one корпус. It was important to ensure that the system opens and is immediately ready for work, without additional connections and searching for components.
Special attention was paid to ergonomics — the user should work just as comfortably as at a stationary workplace.
Challenge
The main difficulty was in combining compactness and functionality. All elements had to be securely fixed during transportation and at the same time easily transition into working mode.
An additional constraint was the ASUS MB14AC monitor, which does not have a standard mount. This required a separate engineering solution to fix it without risk of damage and without the use of external adapters.
Solution
The case is built as a single system that operates in two modes — closed for transportation and open for work. After opening the корпус, a workspace is formed with a monitor and a surface for a keyboard and mouse.
Inside, each element has its own place, so nothing shifts during transportation and does not require additional setup before starting work. The fold-out shelf creates a stable surface, and the peripherals remain accessible without unnecessary actions.ч
A custom mount was developed for the monitor, which evenly distributes the load and ensures rigid fixation. It is integrated into the case structure and does not require separate solutions during use.
The body is made from a combination of durable materials that withstand regular transportation and retain the geometry of the structure even under intensive use. the shape of the award taking into account support points, weight distribution, and movement scenarios. The object does not simply lie in the case, but is securely fixed in a stable position without risk of displacement.
